A BRIGHTER FUTURE

FOR CABARRUS COUNTY

NC STATE FLAG

An Advocate for the "Whole Child"

Our public schools are strong, I will work to make them stronger! I will rely on my extensive experience as a Certified Teacher, a community member, and a PTO board member to make informed decisions and guide my actions if elected to the board. Every child in Cabarrus County deserves a representative who will advocate for their needs and work towards the best outcomes for all students. In my opinion, a good board member should carefully listen to concerns, gather and analyze data, and make decisions that benefit the children both today and in the future. Moreover, transparency is vital, and a board member should provide it to the public. You want a leader on the board who has worked in public schools, who consistently supports our schools and teachers, and one who actively coordinates PTO endeavors. As a PTO board member in a Cabarrus County school (for the last few years), I have been fortunate to be able to support our hardworking teachers and staff members on a consistent basis and my hopes are to continue in the fall. If elected, I will use my experiences to promote and support policies that affect educators, students, and families and make our public schools stronger!

About
Teacher & Staff Retention Rate

Retaining our highly qualified teachers and staff members is of the utmost importance. As a board member, I will advocate and support policies that keep our top talent in our district.

Growth

As our community continues to grow, we need to create an environment that ensures that every teacher and student are properly supported and have the tools to be successful.

Safety

The physical and emotional safety of our students and staff is a priority that must be addressed consistently. I will support policies that ensure that our schools are safe.
