Early
Literacy and Math
Every child deserves a strong foundation in early literacy and math. One of my focuses is on early identification and evidence-based practices that ensure students receive the support they need to thrive.
Teacher
Retention
I actively support competitive compensation. We need to respect educators’ expertise, improve working conditions, and make sure all teachers have reasons to stay in Cabarrus County Schools.
Smart Growth
Cabarrus County is growing, and our schools need thoughtful planning for enrollment, capacity, transportation, facilities and new construction.
Special Education
Every student deserves to be seen, supported, and included. I will advocate for
strengthened support for students with IEPs and 504 plans, improve communication with families, and ensure educators have the training and resources they need.
CTE Pathway
Prepare students for college, careers and life.
Expand opportunities for students to explore career and technical education, workforce pathways, apprenticeships, certifications and hands-on learning.
